Milanese, with a degree in electronic engineering from Milan Polytechnic, Sandroni joined the Computer Sciences Corporation in 1972 as a systems programmer concerned with development and installation of basic systems.

Between 1976 and 1985 he held a number of executive positions in Montedison group companies Datamont and S.I.M.E., first in charge of operations and later as project leader for technological innovation.  

He joined the Selesta Sistemi group of Milan in 1985 as consulting partner and General Director.

In 1990 Sandroni moved to Genoa, where he was in charge of "Data Processing and Telecommunications
Services” for Ilva and Ilva Laminati Piani until 1996.

He was one of the founders of Iso Sistemi s.r.l. and has been a Managing Director since 1996.

Sandroni has been BeeCom s.r.l. Managing Director since 2005.

He has been on the Board of Smartware & DataMining s.r.l. since 2007.
